Safeguarding Policies
At Young Identity we are committed to safeguarding the welfare of all children and adults at risk of harm. Our safeguarding policy and guidelines recognises our duty as an organisation to ensure the safety and well-being of children and adults at risk is at the forefront of our practice and that we equip all our full-time staff, freelancers and volunteers with the tools and confidence to take active and informed responsibility for safeguarding across all strands of our work.
To achieve this, Young Identity has developed a robust policy and formal procedures in line with government legislation and charity commission changes, that are followed by all individuals working for the organisation. Our policy and procedures are annually reviewed and updated, our Safeguarding Committee meets regularly to monitor safeguarding practices and all staff members receive professional training.
